Good news for anyone who’s scared of Zip files and for some reason doesn’t have PayPal; you can now get our EP on iTunes, Amazon MP3, and you can listen for free on Spotify.
The EP is £3.45 on Amazon and £3.95 on iTunes. On our Bandcamp you can download our album in a higher bitrate for FREE. You can choose to pay some if you like but we don’t expect you to. Basically, it’s awesome, and if you choose to get our EP you might as well get it from there.
The EP will be coming soon to other streaming services too; Deezer, eMusic, Mog, iheartradio and Zune, amongst a couple of other stores including Google Play.
Lovely words about us, courtesy of Gigseen.
“Arbor Lights have a great sound (and great taste - lots ofMogwai-respect on their site) and have made their debut with an excellently realised set of cracking tunes that can only serve to propel them further onto the radar of a wide swathe of potential fans. Give it a spin.”
Thank you, Gigseen!

Arbor Lights - Live At Artsfest 2011!
That’s right! The lovely people who organise Artsfest each year have deemed our humble selves worthy to play this year!
If you’ve never heard of Artsfest, you’re sorely missing out. It’s the biggest free arts festival in Europe, and it runs from the 9th to the 11th of September. Each year, the centre of Birmingham is transformed into a huge festival site, full of street performances, stages set against some of Birmingham’s iconic buildings, and free workshops. There’s a million and one things going on, and it makes a great weekend - last year our lockup brothers Rogue States played at the Symphony Hall!
Anyway, come on down - we’re on at The Flapper & Firkin pub at 5pm on the Sunday, so what better way to top off your day? Check the link to the Facebook event for more details.
See you there!
Here’s us performing “Constants (Part 2)” at HESFES 2011, big thanks to Andy, our most awesome hype man at the start of the vid.
It’s been ages since we last shared some new music with you, so here’s a recording of us playing our new song Constants in our new lockup. Actually, that’s sort of a lie - it’s not technically new, since we wrote it when we first got together, but we never made it sound good until now! If you enjoy it, please reblog us to share the love.
Arbor Lights are looking for gigs!
We are now booking for gigs, parties, weddings, funerals etc.
If you are’re looking for a band that are somewhere between moderately rad and totally rad, and are also lovely chaps who won’t throw TVs out of windows, get in touch!
